The clamshell bucket (hydraulic) with double or quadruple hydraulic cylinders mounted on the outer edge of the bucket provides excellent digging force. The inside of the bucket has a smooth surface for easy dumping of high viscosity material such as mud and clay, while the outer layer is reinforced with an additional layer of wear strips. The bucket radius has been optimized to match the location of the hydraulic cylinder to provide a steady and constant load for maximum productivity.
